My name is Latoya Shauntay Snell — a multisport athlete, content creator and founder of food and fitness blog Running Fat Chef. I have been a Global Athlete Ambassador for HOKA since 2019. Since 2014 I’ve completed close to 200 running and obstacle course racing events, including 5 ultramarathons and around 25 marathons. The race location of Te Anau is transformed into the mountain run capital of New Zealand as runners and their supporters descend on the town. This unique atmosphere makes the weekend special for everyone taking part. Perhaps that's why so many runners return year after year to complete another challenge.
