There’s tons of fitness articles and podcasts on the market explaining the benefits of cross-training; I am definitely one of those people that sing a variation of praises about it too. My name is Latoya Shauntay Snell — a multisport athlete, content creator and founder of food and fitness blog Running Fat Chef. I have been a Global Athlete Ambassador for HOKA since 2019. Since 2014 I’ve completed close to 200 running and obstacle course racing events, including 5 ultramarathons and around 25 marathons. Conceived in 1988, the Kepler Challenge has grown to become New Zealand's iconic mountain run. The race location of Te Anau is transformed into the mountain run capital of New Zealand as runners and their supporters descend on the town. This unique atmosphere makes the weekend special for everyone taking part. Perhaps that's why so many runners return year after year to complete another challenge. HOKA Ambassador

My journey with T1D has been hugely transformational in a very positive way so far. Hence I have decided to really test my capabilities as an athlete and T1 Diabetic while fundraising for the organisation who helps others like me.
