Clifton 8

Men's CLIFTON 8 WIDE

The latest silhouette within the iconic Clifton franchise, the Clifton 8 delivers an even softer ride than its predecessor. Building on the geometries that made the Clifton a gateway for first-time HOKA wearers, the Clifton 8 is reinterpreted with our new, ultralight midsole foam that virtually disappears underfoot. Fifteen percent lighter than the previous iteration, this next-gen design is crafted with a breathable mesh upper, ultra-plush tongue and refined pull tab. Equipped with HOKA’s extended crash pad at the heel and increased rubber coverage for durability, the Clifton 8 is the ultimate everyday trainer.

Hoka shoes

Awesome shoes! No trouble with them at this time, comfy and great for speed and long distance runs

Great

Little pinching on arch at first, but that's softened after wearing them in. First time wearing Hoka, probably not the last

Great shoe

The Clifton 8's are a great shoe for lots of road running and non-technical trail. I'm on my third pair, and will get them again!

Maximum comfort while still able to up the pace

Purchased these after about a month of research and going and trying a pair on in the standard width and finding they were too narrow. I have relatively normal width feet, and Hoka's are known for being narrow, so the wide fit works almost like a normal width from other shoes - which has been the approach I also took with the Speedgoat 4s with getting a wide in those which fit well too.

These are maximum comfort shoes, and you do feel like you're running on clouds in them with very little ground feel. The grip works for dry roads and light hard packed trails, but if it's been wet avoid any painted lines on the road as they'll still be slippery, but there's only a handful of shoes that can handle that and you're only really encountering those lines when you're crossing the road on tarmaced surfaces.

Overall, a great everyday trainer/easy run shoe, which I've found can also handle wanting to pick up to a moderate pace too.
